Member, State House of Assembly

Engr. Gbolahan Olusegun Yishawu was born at the Lagos Island. After years of study at home and abroad, he graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and has since gone on to earn multiple higher degrees, even enrolling at the University of Lagos for a PhD programme in Computer Science. He represents the good people of Eti-Osa Constituency 02 at the Lagos House of Assembly. He is presently the Chairman, House Committee on Economic Planning and Budget.

Hon. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro, popularly called IBO, was born of a noble birth to the family of Senator Musiliu Olatunde and Alhaja Morufat Obanikoro of Isale-Eko a part of Lagos State in the early eighties. In March, 2019, he won the House of Representatives’ seat in a keenly contested general elections to represent the people of Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Senator, Nigerian Senate

Sen. Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun, (born 24 March 1961) is the former Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and currently a senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District at the Nigerian National Assembly. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) political party.

About the LCDA


Ikoyi-Obalende Local Council Development Area was carved out of the old Eti-Osa Local Government Area.

The council with territorial size of 28square kilometres has an estimated population of about three hundred and forty two thousand (342,000) inhabitants, made up of predominantly Yorubas, Ibos and Hausas.
