Hon. Ibrahim Salawe Sulaimon – Secretary to the LCDA

Hon. Ibrahim Salawe Sulaimon is the Secretary to Ikoyi-Obalende Local Council Development Area, the position he has held since 20th April, 2022. Ibrahim Salawe Sulaimon is a Nigerian of Lagos State Origin. He was born on the 14th March in Lagos Island, Lagos State.

Hon. Salawe obtained his First School Leaving Certificate Education at St. John Primary School, Aroloya Lagos Island. He further proceed to St. Gregory College Obalende, Lagos where he obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate. He retained his higher education at Lagos State University (LASU) where he graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He is a certified engineer of Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) COREN. He is the former supervisor for works and infrastructure department at Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, former councillor at Ijeh/Dolphin ward B, former Council Leader Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA.

Hon.Ibrahim Salawe Sulaimon is an easy-going, hardworking man who has the interest of the people in the community at heart. The growth and development of the community is his priority.

He is happily married with children.

About the LCDA


Ikoyi-Obalende Local Council Development Area was carved out of the old Eti-Osa Local Government Area.

The council with territorial size of 28square kilometres has an estimated population of about three hundred and forty two thousand (342,000) inhabitants, made up of predominantly Yorubas, Ibos and Hausas.
