Fuel Subsidy Removal: Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA Launches Transportation Intervention Project

The recent fuel subsidy removal has caused a lot of hardship for our residents, staff, taxpayers and companies within the LCDA. The rising cost of transportation and food has increased by almost 100%, which has made it difficult for many people to make ends meet and we want to help.

In a bid to ameliorate the suffering of our people, we will be introducing a “Transport Intervention Program” for low income earners, in our local council area. These cards will come pre-loaded monthly, and can be used on the BRT buses on the Ikorodu, Oshodi, Iyana – Ipaja and Ajah axis road route as well as on Lagos State Ferry’s and also to purchase food items from food banks stationed within the LCDA.

The TIP Card is a way for us to help our people cope with the rising cost of living. It’s a small gesture, but we hope that it will make a big difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Thank you for your support!
Together, we will leave no one behind.
