To apply for a Street Name, you must obtain an application form at the council secretariat for a non-refundable sum of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira only). You can also download the form online while you submit along with your evidence of payment of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only) and current Tax Clearance. Payment for the Application Form should be paid into the account details below:

The LCDA’s Marriage Registry

  1. Shops and Kiosks rates;
  2. Slaughter slab license fee in abattoirs under Local Government Control;
  3. Motor park levy (including Motorcycles and Tri-cycles);
  4. Parking fee on Local Government Streets or roads as may be approved by the State Government;
  5. Domestic animal license fee (excluding poultry farmers);
  6. License fees for bicycles, trucks, canoes, wheelbarrows and carts (other than mechanically propelled trucks);
  7. Radio and Television license fee (excluding radio and television in motor vehicles;
  8. Transmitters and other communication equipment);
  9. Public sewage and refuse disposal fees;
  10. Permit fee for private entertainment and merriment in public places (excluding roads and streets); and
  11. Wharf landing fees

About the LCDA


Ikoyi-Obalende Local Council Development Area was carved out of the old Eti-Osa Local Government Area.

The council with territorial size of 28square kilometres has an estimated population of about three hundred and forty two thousand (342,000) inhabitants, made up of predominantly Yorubas, Ibos and Hausas.
