Ikoyi Obalende Opens Primary Healthcare Centre, Ijeh (Dolphin)

Still in line with one of the Administration’s sustainable development goal of ensuring good healthcare is affordable and available to the people of Ikoyi Obalende LCDA, the council newly opened the Sen Oluremi Tinubu Primary healthcare Centre, Ijeh (Dolphin).

To start operations at the clinic, a free healthcare screening program was organized for the people of the community at the healthcare centre on Sat, 4th of May 2019.

Several screenings like Cervical cancer, breast cancer, HIV Test and counseling, Malaria Test, amongst other screenings were conducted. Free Eye glasses were also giving to people during the exercise.

The Primary Healthcare centre with modern facilities and equipped medical personnels is open to everyone at an affordable rate.

The Chairman of the LCDA continues to work towards a healthy environment.

About the LCDA


Ikoyi-Obalende Local Council Development Area was carved out of the old Eti-Osa Local Government Area.

The council with territorial size of 28square kilometres has an estimated population of about three hundred and forty two thousand (342,000) inhabitants, made up of predominantly Yorubas, Ibos and Hausas.
